Open Calendar

A scheduling SaaS built around a full calendar. It ships five calendar views, drag-and-drop, and working hours, plus a marketing landing page, auth, billing, and a unified app shell. This is the open-calendar template, and it runs on the Calendar pack.

What's inside

  • A starter for auth (you pick WorkOS or Better Auth at install).
  • A layout shell (defaults to the glass layout, swappable at install).
  • Billing, defaulting to Stripe and swappable for Lemon Squeezy or Polar at install.
  • A separate admin app from the starter, with the billing revenue widgets already wired in.
  • Calendar as a fixed feature pack: five views, drag to reschedule, attendee invites, working hours.
  • A scheduling landing page with a live calendar preview, a dashboard, and a resources hub, on the lime theme.

What you need to set up

This template inherits its integrations from its packs, so configure those:

  1. Auth - follow the guide for the starter you picked:
  2. Billing - follow the page for the provider you picked: Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, or Polar. Each needs an account, a secret, plan ids, and a webhook.
  3. Admin - set SUPER_ADMIN_EMAIL to sign in to the admin app the first time.

Postgres, Valkey, and RustFS are base services shared by every Hype Stack app.

Why use the template instead of composing packs yourself

It pre-wires the starter, layout, billing, and the calendar pack together with the lime theme, the landing page, and the app shell. You skip the composition step and land on a coherent scheduling product.
