Better Studio

Launch a multi-tenant SaaS product with auth, billing, and a unified app shell, plus a marketing landing page and custom styling. This is the better-studio template.

What's inside

• A starter for auth (you pick WorkOS or Better Auth at install).
• A layout shell (you pick the layout variant at install).
• Billing, defaulting to Stripe and swappable for Lemon Squeezy or Polar at install.
• A separate admin app from the starter, with the billing revenue widgets already wired in.
• A custom theme, re-skinned auth screens, and a marketing landing page.

What you need to set up

This template inherits its integrations from its packs, so configure those:

1. Auth - follow the guide for the starter you picked:
   • SaaS Starter (Better Auth) (default), or
   • SaaS Starter (WorkOS)
2. Billing - follow the page for the provider you picked: Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, or Polar. Each needs an account, a secret, plan ids, and a webhook.
3. Admin - set SUPER_ADMIN_EMAIL to sign in to the admin app the first time.

Postgres, Valkey, and RustFS are base services shared by every Hype Stack app.

Why use the template instead of composing packs yourself

It pre-wires the starter, layout, and billing pack together with a consistent theme and the marketing landing page already built. You skip the composition step and land on a coherent, sellable SaaS shell.
