Case converter.
Type once and get ten cases back. It splits words the way a developer reads them, so XMLHttpRequest turns into xml_http_request, not xmlhttprequest.

Each line is converted on its own, so a pasted list stays a list. Acronyms, digits, underscores and dashes are read as word breaks: XMLHttpRequest becomes xml_http_request.

How it works.
- 1
Paste a variable name, a list of names, or a sentence.
- 2
Every case updates as you type. Each line converts on its own.
- 3
Copy the one you need with the button next to it.
Which case goes where
camelCase for JavaScript and TypeScript variables and functions. PascalCase for classes, types and React components. snake_case for Python, Ruby and most SQL columns. kebab-case for URLs, CSS classes and file names. CONSTANT_CASE for environment variables and constants.
Title Case is for headings and page titles, Sentence case for buttons and UI copy. dot.case shows up in config keys and translation message ids.
How words are split
Spaces, underscores, dashes and dots all break words. So does a change from lowercase to uppercase, and a run of capitals followed by a capitalised word: getHTTPResponse reads as get, HTTP, Response.
Digits stay with the letters before them, so base64, v2 and h1 survive as single words. Title Case keeps small words like of, the and and in lowercase unless they open or close the line.
Questions, answered.
How do I convert text to camelCase?
Paste the text into the box above. The camelCase row shows the result straight away: the first word in lowercase and every word after it capitalised, with spaces and separators removed.
What's the difference between camelCase and PascalCase?
Only the first letter. camelCase starts lowercase (userName), PascalCase starts uppercase (UserName). JavaScript uses camelCase for variables and PascalCase for classes and components.
What's the difference between snake_case and kebab-case?
The separator. snake_case joins words with underscores (user_name) and is common in Python and databases. kebab-case uses hyphens (user-name) and is common in URLs, CSS and file names.
Can I convert a whole list of names at once?
Yes. Each line is converted on its own and blank lines are kept, so you can paste a column of field names and copy the converted column back.
Does Title Case follow a style guide?
It capitalises every word except short articles, conjunctions and prepositions in the middle of a line, which matches most AP and Chicago headings. Check names and acronyms by hand afterwards.
