# Calendar

A working calendar with five views, drag-to-reschedule, and attendee invites. This is the `pack-calendar` pack.

## No special integration needed

The calendar runs on the base services every Hype Stack app already has:

- **Postgres** for the `calendar_event` table (events, organizer, attendees, color).

There is no third-party account to create and no pack-specific environment variables to fill in.

## What it depends on

- A **starter pack** for auth and organizations. Events are scoped to the signed-in user's organization, and the
  attendee picker lists that organization's members through the starter's users API.

## What you get

- `/calendar` with day, week, month, year, and agenda views over the same events.
- Create, edit, and delete events, with drag-and-drop rescheduling that persists.
- `GET /calendar/stats` for dashboards: counts for today, this week, and upcoming, plus the next few events.

## After installing

Run `pnpm prisma generate` and then `pnpm prisma migrate dev` in your backend app to create the `calendar_event` table.

## Environment variables

None. The pack reads the base template's `DATABASE_URL` and relies on the starter for auth and organizations.
